End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are popular in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance features that are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse settings that have limited space. The space needed to use these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These machines are an ideal choice for applications which require frequent off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus used by a variety of businesses who maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished products on pallets and supplies that are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and simple retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a way which is both safe and efficient.
All standard reach truck units will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and can move down and up. The tines also have a hydraulic system which enables the operator to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to move into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic forks swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without any problem, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
