The narrow aisle lift truck has been made to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale makes the double reach NDR and single reach NR models that are utilized for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale use best-in-class ergonomics and offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various control handle and stance configurations.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider range of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides strong deceleration and acceleration as well as fast lifting speeds. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported in a shift.
Reach & Mast Assembly: The tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, and the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: To greatly enhance the overall throughput and production, Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and uploading speeds.
Regenerative Lowering: While regenerative lowering can lessen battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence really reduces energy. The operator can adjust the steering tiller and the technician can adjust the steer effort so as to decrease operator fatigue. During the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: The very narrow aisle trucks and the narrow aisle trucks are also referred to as order pickers. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be in excess of 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are generally guided by wire or rail when used in very narrow aisle applications.
