Nissan's UFS reach trucks are able to work in a 4-way action, that enables these units to perform precision jobs in any direction. Typically, these narrow aisle lift trucks are used for loading and unloading from ground level, stacking of wide, normal or long loads up to 9700 mm and internal transfer.
The UFS models could accommodate long cargo up to 2.5 ton within narrow aisles, and wide loads also. These features allow the forklift to maximize storage space use and will accommodate every type of pallet, like closed versions. The space efficiency of this specific model is extenuated due to its extended mast option.
Similar to most reach trucks available on the market, the maintenance expenses are fairly low. Most of the parts are basic and easily accessible across the range.
The truck has built in CAN Bus technology in its BITE test equipment. This feature is capable of self-diagnosis and monitoring. The LCD screen of the truck offers accurate fault information to feature repair times and improved maintenance. This enables the operator to enjoy more up-time and overall less expenses.
URF is a really sophisticated model of narrow aisle truck which is equipped with swivel-reach. The forks horizontally rotate 180 degrees to allow stacking on either side as well as to the front of the aisle. This truck is able to be utilized with wire guided operation in free-ranging operations all over the warehouse or within aisles as narrow as 1.5 meters. The way this forklift has been designed allows optimum warehouse space use and the overall operation is simpler and faster compared to man-up operations. The power steering option, along with mini steering wheel, completely adjustable seat and fingertip controls and the "floating" arm rest, all contribute to comfortable and productive operation. Statistics show that the more comfortable and happy the operator is the higher level of production.
The rotating forks on the URF unit can be used for both aisle and warehouse handling operations. This unit is best suited for aisle-ways that are just 300 mm wider than the transported load. Furthermore, the Autostop extra safety feature automatically stops the truck at the end of the aisles. Ancillary equipment and data terminals are easily incorporated. The video-view applications enable the operator to visually check the load at every stage of the handling procedure while maintaining the "man-down" position for simple truck access.
