Used Carelift Zoom Boom Phoenix

Used Carelift Zoom Boom Phoenix

CareLift Equipment has been engineering and making quality rough terrain forklifts since the year 1962. Every day the company strives to help their customers reach their objectives and deliver value since they know the bottom line is performance and dependability.

There are 2 general kinds of boom lifts. These models are articulated boom lifts and straight boom lifts. Normally, these models are powered hydraulically. Most commonly straight booms are the great option for tasks which require a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the machine can rotate 360 degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom can be vertically raised to below horizontal. Since the operator can steer and maneuver the vehicle while the boom is fully extended, it is a versatile machinery. These models are available in gas, diesel or propane configurations as well as 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive.

The articulated boom lifts are utilized for jobs which need to reach up and over obstacles so as to gain access. These specialized lifts are utilized for jobs that are not easily completed by straight telescopic booms. These lifts are almost like the straight boom lift in most aspects except in the ability of the boom to articulate. There are different articulation points on the boom in order to allow it to bend in a range of different directions allowing it to easily move around any objects within the work environment.

Some heavy-duty boom lifts come equipped with outriggers in order to maintain stability whilst the boom lift is completely extended. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra safety and confidence. Correct training is necessary before using boom lifts in order to ensure the jobsite, the operator and everybody working in the vicinity stays safe.

Boom lifts enable jobs that used to need a lot more man hours to be completed in a much shorter time period. These machines have changed the material handling business and have greatly increased production.
